The Island Boat Tour sets sail in Castries, St. Lucia and sails along the coastline on its way to Soufriere.
Upon reaching the bay where part of the Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed, spartanites can breathe in the distinctive smell of sulfur from the drive-in volcano. The voyage continues onto a nice areaalong the way where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water.
With music entertainment and spirits, the voyage continues to Marigot Bay where the original Dr. Doolittle film was made.
The voyage ends as crew members return to the beautiful island of Castries.

Spartan's Health Fair
Spartan's Health Fair is a free health screening event, open the the local community of St. Lucia. This annual event is put together by members of the AMSA (American Medical Students Association). Numerous students and faculty members this health and prevention effort.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) of Spartan Health Sciences University has numerous functions that encompass not only student affairs, but community based services as well. As SGA officers, our day to day responsibilities include oversight and operation of several ancillary services campus wide and is governed by a slate of elected offiers and an elected representative from each trimeste class. The SGA play an intergrated role in the planning and coordinating of several student related matters. These service include: On-site SGA store, school cafeteria, copy machine, internet services, computer lab, night transport, and sports activities. The SGA stores's funds are utilized to fund several student related activities such as: End of trimester parties, Taste of Spartan and several others.

The Heartbeat
The Heartbeat is a student newsletter of Spartan Health Sciences University. It is published monthly, produced and edited by students, and focuses on keeping the University community informed about student activities, issues in medicine, developments of particular concern to medical student, academic changes and regulations, administrative announcements, and human interest stories relating to Spartan students.
