Dr Rajput is associated with Spartan Health Sciences University, School of Medicine since 2011. As an Assistant Dean of academic affairs, he is working as a part of the leadership team for academic affairs and provides support to the Dean in the operation of academic affairs, accreditation, Curriculum assessment, and strategic planning. He has 9 years of teaching experience in clinical pharmacology wherein he is actively involved in teaching as well as development of Curriculum.
Dr. Rajput graduated in Medicine from JN medical college, India in 2006 and completed his residency and obtained his MD in Clinical Pharmacology (2009) from Manipal University, India. He is also registered with Karnataka Medical Council, India since 2006. He has obtained his MBA in Medical Education from NIBM (2016) and Postgraduate diploma in clinical research (PDCR), April 2011, catalyst clinical services, Delhi and also successfully completed Good clinical practice (GCP) certification, Pharma School, UK
Before joining Spartan Health Sciences, He worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Manipal University (2009-2011). His subject of interests includes Clinical pharmacology, cancer chemotherapy and central nervous system disorders. He has published several papers in peer reviewed national and international journals.
He has Extensively worked on research based on Quality of life in Chronic pancreatitis Patients and have involved in various preclinical and animal experiments- Hepatoprotective studies, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Local anesthetic, wound healing and Burn wound healing models. He has participated in various phase 3 clinical trials as sub investigator in association with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Apex and Ranbaxy pharmaceuticals.
