Dr. Rajput is associated with Spartan Health Sciences University, School of Medicine since 2011. As an Assistant Dean of academic affairs, he is working as a part of the leadership team for academic affairs and provides support to the Dean in the operation of academic affairs, accreditation, Curriculum assessment, and strategic planning.   He has 9 years of teaching experience in clinical pharmacology wherein he has actively involved in teaching as well as the development of Curriculum.

As a Director of Student Affairs and Services, he is responsible for the overall functioning and performance of the Department of Student Affairs and Services. He leads and represents the Department of Student Affairs and Services in the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the safety of students, consistency of practice and maintenance of optimum service levels. He also provides College-wide leadership by, directing the departments’ work with faculty and staff, colleagues, students and community partners in order to support, provide and/or facilitate activities that ensure that the College achieves its student leadership development, and engagement goals.

Dr. Rajput graduated in Medicine from JN medical college, India in 2006 and completed his residency and obtained his MD in Clinical Pharmacology (2009) from Manipal University, India. He is also registered with Karnataka Medical Council, India since 2006. He has obtained his MBA in Medical Education from NIBM (2016) and Postgraduate diploma in clinical research (PDCR), April 2011, catalyst clinical services, Delhi and also successfully completed Good clinical practice (GCP) certification, Pharma School, UK

Before joining Spartan Health Sciences, He worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Manipal University (2009-2011). His subject of interests includes Clinical pharmacology, cancer chemotherapy, and central nervous system disorders. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals.

He has Extensively worked on research based on Quality of life in Chronic pancreatitis Patients and has involved in various preclinical and animal experiments- Hepatoprotective studies, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Local anesthetic, wound healing and Burn wound healing models. He has participated in various phase 3 clinical trials as sub-investigator in association with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Apex, and Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals.
