Dr. Boopathi Subramaniam (PT) obtained an M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal University, India in 2010 and B.P.T (Bachelor in Physical Therapy) from Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai, India in 2006, and He joined Spartan Health Sciences University (SHSU) in March 2014.
Prior to SHSU, He has joined as a faculty in the Department of Anatomy, Annapoorana Medical College & Hospital, India in the year 2010. Dr. Subramaniam has nearly 7 years and 4 months of experience teaching Anatomy to medical students.
At Spartan, Dr. Boopathi Subramaniam is involved in U.S.-based Integrated Clinically Oriented Curriculum where he has developed his leadership skills in delivering anatomy to the MD students. Dr. Subramaniam is also the Director of Anatomy lab. Dr. Subramaniam teaches Human Anatomy (Human Gross Anatomy and Embryology) in a system based manner through innovative technology-driven didactic lectures, and cadaveric dissection based small group lab sessions. Dr. Subramaniam is responsible for scheduling lecture and lab sessions and lab examinations in the anatomy department. Dr. Subramaniam is experienced in medical curricula with PBL and other self-directed learning approaches. Dr. Subramaniam is also an active member of various SHSU committees such as continuous curriculum improvement committee, research committee, Admission Committee etc. Currently, he is working on two research projects. Dr. Subramaniam has 6 scientific publications and 3 conference presentations to his credit.
