Dr. Rasheed Agboola is an Associate Professor of Pathophysiology at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia. Dr. Rasheed earned his medical degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria and completed a Post graduate Teaching & Research fellowship program in Pathology at St. Georges University, Grenada. Dr. Rasheed also holds Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Clinical Research Management and completing a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Stem Cells and Regeneration from University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
Dr. Rasheed holds medical licenses in Grenada and Nigeria. He was a medical officer at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital in Nigeria, where he worked at Nephrology and Cardio-thoracic units of the teaching hospital and worked at the St. Georges General Hospital in Grenada.
Dr. Rasheed has been teaching in the Caribbean medical Universities for almost 15 years. He was a full-time faculty in Pathology at St. Georges University in Grenada and had worked at many other Caribbean medical institutions. Dr. Rasheed has had an extensive experience with the Caribbean medical education and had won many awards for his teaching skills. He was an Associate Professor of Pathology and Dean of Student Affairs before joining Spartan Health Sciences University.
