Welcome to Spartan Health Sciences University
Spartan Health Sciences University, School of Medicine offers a five-year (40 calendar months) academic program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.), and is taught on a trimester (four months) schedule.

The curriculum of the University's Doctor of Medicine degree program encompasses a comprehensive course of Basic Sciences, Pre-clinical, bridging curriculum and Clinical Sciences that is five (5) academic years. The trimester period commences in January, May, and September of each year. A student may elect to enter in any one of the three (3) trimesters.

Spartan's true international identity is represented with multiple nationalities among its student body, its low tuition- the lowest among its counterparts, and above all, you will be part of a true family in a small class based school where everybody knows you and cares to help you reach your goals.

student activities
Active student bodies AMSA and SGA plan health fairs, blood donation camps every trimester besides entertaining with events like Taste of Spartan. Occasional boat rides to Castries and campfires inculcate camaraderie and bonding among the otherwise academically driven students. Heartbeat-a monthly magazine published by the students, represents the voice of the student body about their experiences on the island and the school in particular.
